1) When and how did you first get into riding a Harley? 1993, I sold my Suzuki and scraped up enough money to buy a 1979 Sporster.
2) How long have you been riding? Since 1986. I was financially embarrassed during the 80's and 90's. I bought a 1980 Suzuki and rode it until 1993.
3) What is your favorite trip or place to ride? The Ozark Mountains in northwest Arkansas.
4) What gives you the greatest thrill while riding? Riding when time is not important, weather is great, roads have lots of curves, and there is a great place to eat at the end.
5) What is your best memory associated with riding? That my wife, Sheila, loves riding as much as I do and she has been with me at least 90% of the miles I have rode.
6) What do you do in your 'other' life and how does your Harley fit in with that? Criminal Investigator for the 39th Judicial District Attorney. The only time I used my bike at work was when a guy that lived next to the school was selling dope. He knew all of the police in town but didn't know me so I put on my worst clothes, turned my cap backwards, got on the bike and went to his house. The first thing he said was, "I don't know you but I know cops don't ride motorcycles." Sold me four crack rocks and that's what sent him off to prison.
7) What is your philosophy of riding? Riding a Harley is the best way to enjoy and appreciate God's creation.
